Nature – the greatest artist of all

This post is dedicated to the hostages who returned to us.

Nature creates effortlessly. It does not need to plan an exhibition or think about a composition. It simply happens, and the beauty in it is created from life itself – from a process, from change, from time.

Good morning, readers of my art blog in Israel and around the world!

The holidays are over, the hostages have returned, and we continue to pray for the return of all the deceased hostages. The pain still lives within us, however slowly we are returning to our daily routine.

Amidst this complex reality, I invite you, clients who have been in touch with me all these years and who have supported the art world, to visit my gallery facing the Mediterranean Sea. To stop for a moment to breathe and connect to that which heals, to connect to art, beauty and to nature.

When I look at a dry tree, a crumbling leaf, a rock eroded by the wind and water, I see a sculptural piece.

I see the precise and patient handwork of time, of the wind, of the sun, of the rain, of nature. It seems that every detail in nature is thoughtfully created, in deep harmony, as a real work of art…

The tree that got bent in the wind and broke, the spots on its bark, the texture of dry leaves, the lines carved into the rock, they all remind me that everything we create as artists is an echo, an imitation, an interpretation of what already exists around us. We study from nature how to create beauty, how to use shapes, material, light and shadow.

As artists, we stop for a moment and look. We try to capture this moment, the line, the shape, the emotion it evokes in us. And our creation is a way for us to express gratitude. It is our way of communication with nature, with this great artist and teacher.

So perhaps my true muse is a tree that has dried up in the middle of a field, or a small pebble that lies near a stream. Perhaps inspiration is not only found in a bright studio, but rather in a quiet walk in nature when I let my eyes and heart open.

I warmly invite you to visit my website and be among the first to see my sensitive works. Since the return of the hostages the emotion, the creation, the pressures and the anxieties of the last two years have erupted within me with intensity that transformed into a living, moving and courageous work of art.

It is painful, it is moving yet it is a celebration of truth!!

BRING THEM HOME !

In hope to see you again soon at the gallery in front of the Sea!
Have a good week.
